Ingredients:  
⅓ cup shortening and ⅓ cup butter
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
2 squares melted chocolate
¼ tsp. salt
3¼ cups flour
Juice from small jar Maraschino cherries with enough sour milk added to make 2 cups liquid
Add 2 tsp. soda in liquid
Cut up cherries and add to mixture.

Bake 45 minutes at 350. Love the cherry flavor.
