1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic
1/2 teaspoon dry oregano or Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 14.5-ounce can tomatoes
Pepper to taste
2 to 4 tablespoons tomato paste

Directions:
Heat the olive oil in saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and herb, stir to coat. Add remaining ingredients. Puree with hand-held blender. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered 15 minutes.
