½ c. Butter (plus 2 T. If using cocoa)
1 c. Sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. cold water
1 tsp. vanilla
¾ c. Flour
½ c. Chopped walnuts
Last add 2 squares melted chocolate (or 6 T. Cocoa included with flour.)

Mix Butter & sugar then add eggs & water. Combine flour & cocoa if using. Add chopped nuts. Bake for 30 minutes at 350º in a 8" square pan. Do not double recipe.
