2 boxes vanilla wafers
3 cups powdered sugar, divided
4 tbl cocoa
2 cups pecans, chopped
2 cups shredded coconut
2/3 cup light Karo syrup
1/2 cup bourbon, such as Wild Turkey
1/3 cup chopped maraschino cherries
1/4 cup cherry juice

Directions:
Directions:
Crush wafers.
Combine 2 cups powdered sugar with the rest of the ingredients until incorporated.
Roll into 1-inch balls and then roll in remaining 1 cup powdered sugar.

Technique: roll balls in powdered sugar by tossing in plastic bag.
