Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 package yellow cake mix
1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
1 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, cut into thin slices

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 9x13 pan. Dump pineapple into pan; spread evenly. Spread cherry pie filling on top. Spread dry cake mix on top. Sprinkle walnuts over cake mix, then dot the whole top with butter.* Bake at 350°F for 48-53 minutes. Serve warm or chilled.

*I find it easiest to freeze the butter until it’s needed, then use a paring knife to cut it into very thin slices and place it on top as you cut. The photos show an example of what it should look like before going in the oven, and after it's done!

I consider this recipe to represent the Serco value innovation, because it uses dry cake mix dry instead of following the usual instructions for it. This cake is guaranteed to be a hit no matter who you share it with!
