1 pkg 17oz Frozen pastry sheets thawed
1 pkg 4 oz Garlic and spice flavored Alouette Cheese
6 skinned and boned chicken breast halves
1/2 TSP salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 LG egg

Unfold pastry sheets and roll each into a 14x12" rectangle on a lightly foloured surface. Cut 1st sheet into 4 rectangles; cut second sheet into 2 rectangles (7x6")
and 1 (12x7") Set large rectangle aside
Spread rectangles with the cheese
Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Place one in the center of the 6 (7x6") rectangles. Fold ends and sides over the chicken and pinch to seal. Place bundles seam side down on lightly greased baking sheet. Cut large rectangle crosswise into 6 strips about 1/4 inches wide. Braid three strips together and place over chicken bundle and tuck underneath Cover and chill up to 2 hours if desired.
Combine egg and water stir until well beaten. Brush egg mixture over pastry.
Bake at 400º on lower rack for 25 min or until golden.
