2 large celery stalks, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
¼ cup butter
9 cups dried bread or dried stuffing product
2 cups cooked wild rice (I use a 15 oz. can)
1½ cups chicken stock
½ tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp freshly chopped thyme

Directions:
Directions:
Cook celery and onion in the butter in a pan. Add mixture to the stuffing, add the wild rice and chicken stock and mix well. Put in baking pan and cook for about 1 hour at 350. Be sure to cover tightly with foil all around the pan.

Great options to add to the wild rice dressing; Your choice as what to add!
½ cup dried cranberries chopped
⅓ cup dried apricots, chopped
1 cup chopped apples
Golden raisins are a good substitute for the cranberries
⅔ cup toasted pecans or walnuts chopped
To toast nuts, spread in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes.
