1 pound boneless beef round steak, cut into ½-inch cubes
1 large onion, chopped
1 large bell pepper, chopped
1 15-oz can chili beans with gravy
1 15-oz can kidney or pinto beans, rinsed & drained
1 14¼-oz can stewed tomatoes, cut up
1 cup beef broth
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon cumin
¾ teaspoon garlic salt
½ teaspoon oregano
Dumplings:
1 8.5-oz package corn muffin mix
½ cup shredded cheese
¼ cup sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cook on low 8-10 hours. To make dumplings, beat egg and sour cream. Stir in remaining ingredients. Turn slow cooker to high. Drop batter in by spoonfuls. Cover and cook 20-25 minutes.
