3-4 pounds rump roast ( I use a round steak roast)
2 cups water
Broth
1-15 ounce can tomato sauce
1 onion
2-3 bell peppers
1 teaspoon of salt
2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon oregano
¼ teaspoon anise seed
½ teaspoon pepper

Directions:

Bake roast until done. Let cool then slice thin for sandwich and place in container.
In a saucepan add broth and everything else bring to a boil for 15 minutes then pour over meat and refrigerate over night. Warm the next day and put on hoggie buns.

This recipe came from a pizza restaurant in Anderson Indiana. Everyone wants to know when we are going to have it. I also buy a bigger size roast and serve supper with some of it and slice the rest.
