1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup onion, diced
1/4 cup celery, diced
1/4 cup green pepper, finely cut
1 Tablespoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1 Tablespoon vinegar
1-1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Hamburger buns

Directions:
Directions:
Brown and drain the meat. Add onion, celery, green pepper and cook until vegetables are tender. Stir in seasonings and remaining ingredients. Let simmer 5-10 minutes or until well thickened.

Split hamburger buns, toast or warm them. Heap the buns with the filling and garnish with a dill pickle.

"You can substitute ground turkey for the ground beef. If you do, add 1 teaspoon cumin and the 1-1/2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce* to the raw turkey meat, mix well. Brown and drain the turkey meat. Saute the vegetables in 1/2 Tablespoon olive oil until tender. Mix turkey, seasonings and vegetables and simmer for 5-10 minutes to thicken. *You can add more Worcestershire sauce to taste."
