1 cup sugar
1/2 cup white corn syrup
2 cups slivered, toasted almonds
1 tablespoon butter
1 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, stir together sugar and syrup. Microwave on high for 3 minutes, 45 seconds. Stir in almonds, microwave 4 minutes. Add butter and almond extract, blend well, microwave for 2 minutes. Add baking soda. Stir until light and foamy (very short time). Pour on Pam sprayed cookie sheet. Spread until thin with Pam sprayed spoon. Cool and store in airtight container.
