4 ears corn-kernels removed,1 1/2 lbs asparagus-tough ends removed cut into 1 inch pieces, 1 c cherry tomatoes cut in half, 1/4 c fresh basil,1 small red onion minced, 1 tbsp.lemon juice, 3 tbsp.olive oil, salt and pepper to taste.

Directions:
Cook kernels in pot of salted boiling water for about 4 minutes.Add asparagus and cook 3 more minutes. Strain and blanch in a large bowl of ice water. Place in a large bowl and add tomatoes and basil.
In a small bowl combine red onion, lemon juice,olive oil and salt.
Pour over corn mixture.
Great summer side dish or light meal !
