Pecan Balls Recipe

1 C Flour
½ C Margarine
1 C Finely Chopped Pecans
2 T Sugar
½ tsp Salt
1 tsp Vanilla

½ C Powdered Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 6 ingredients (reserve powdered sugar for after they are baked), mixing well using hands.

Chill 30 minutes. Roll into 1¼" balls.

Bake in 350º oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove to wire rack. Allow to cool slightly then roll into powdered sugar and allow to finish cooling before packaging.

I have tried using butter in place of the margarine and they never turn out right. Be sure to use margarine as the recipe says.
