1 c. salad oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs well beaten
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped black walnuts
3 c. diced apples

Topping:
1 c. caramel topping
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. powdered sugar

Whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
Beat oil and sugar together. Add eggs and beat. Add vanilla. Next, add dry ingredients. Mix well then add apples and nuts. Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 45-50 minutes.

Make topping and pour over warm cake.

Topping:
Mix topping ingredients. Blend well and pour over warm cake.

May serve with dollop of whipped cream.
