2 loaves thinly sliced white bread
melted butter to brush on
2 8-oz packages cream cheese, room temp
1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temp
1/3 cup mayo
6 green onions, chopped
freshly grated parmesan

Directions:
Directions:
Cut out four 1 1/2-inch circles from each slice of bread. Butter one side and arrange in a single layer with butter side up on a baking sheet. Broil until lightly toasted. Turn over and toast the other side. Cool on a rack. Combine cream cheese, butter, mayo and green onion. Spread 1 t. of cream cheese mixture on each buttered side of bread. Then dip into parmesan cheese. Broil again until bubbly and golden (about 5 min). Serve immediately.
