2 c lard (must be lard)
1 t (heaping) pepper
2 c milk
3 c sugar
1 t (heaping) cinnamon
Flour - enough to make a stiff dough

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients. The dough should be stiff enough so it won't stick to anything. Roll into balls the size of small walnuts; flatten a little on top. Bake at 400 degrees until golden brown. Beverly Kohagen Hopp: This took a lot of flour! Lisa: Amount of flour unknown, no leavening; they were "hard as rocks!"
