1 c. butter, softened (2 sticks)
2 tsp. vanilla flavor
3-4 c. powdered sugar
⅛-¼ c. heavy whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
With mixer, whip butter for five minutes. Add vanilla.

Slowly pour in one cup of powdered sugar at a time. Taste frosting after third cup. If it’s not sweet enough, add fourth cup. Otherwise, just use 3 cups.

**I usually use four cups.

To make a smoother, less sweet frosting, add in heavy whipping cream.

Frost cake and serve.

Refrigerate cake up to seven days or leave at room temperature for three days.
