1/2 C shortening
1 C boiling water
1 C sifted flour
1/4 tsp salt
4 eggs unbeaten

Directions:
Directions:
Bring shortening and water to a boil in a saucepan.
Sift flour and salt together and add to the water mixture.
Stir until thick and smooth and comes away from the side of the pan.
Remove from heat.
Add eggs one at a time beating thoroughly after each addition until the mixture is smooth.
Spoon mixture by tablespoons inches apart on a well-greased baking sheet.
The mixture should not spread.
Bake in oven 450º for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 400º and bake about 30 minutes then cool.
Slit and fill with sweetened whipped cream, ice cream, or any fruit mixture
