1 lb. chicken breasts
2 onions, diced
1 green pepper, diced
1 can soda (I use cherry coke)
1/3 c. sugar
1 T. chili powder
1 t. garlic powder
1 t. salt
1/2 t. black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Place chicken and vegetables in the instant pot. Whisk together soda, sugar and spices, until sugar is dissolved. Pour over chicken. Close lid; cook for 15 minutes. When finished, manually release the pressure by turning the valve to vent. Remove lid; drain most of the broth and shred chicken with two forks. Toss with barbecue sauce if desired.
