1 C. brown sugar, packed
1/4 C. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
3 C. milk (whole is best)
3 - 4 large egg yolks, beaten slightly
2 - 4 T. butter
Unsweetened whipped cream, for serving

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium saucepan, combine the brown sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Add the milk and egg yolks and stir them together over medium heat. Cook, stirring, until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in the butter. Spoon into glasses or bowls and chill for at least 2 hours. Top with whipped cream.
