Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
3-4 very ripe bananas
1/2 cup sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt with a wire whisk.
In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar together, then add eggs and vanilla.
In a third bowl, mash bananas and mix in sour cream.
Combine ingredients of all three bowls and pour into a 5x9 loaf pan. (I usually line the pan with parchment paper to bake, but you could grease the pan instead)
Bake at 325º for about an hour. Let cook in pan for a little while, then remove and peel off paper and let cool completely.

*Freezes well.
*Chopped walnuts, dried cranberries, or chocolate chips can be added.
