2 c. flour
2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
2 c. cherries or berries
STREUSEL TOPPING:
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 T. flour
2 t. cinnamon
3 T. butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Cream butter and sugar; beat in egg. Add flour mixture and milk. Stir to moisten dry ingredients. Fold in fruit. Pour into greased and floured 9" springform pan. Sprinkle with topping. Bake 45-50 minutes at 375º; until cake tests done. Cool 5 minutes. Serve warm. STREUSEL TOPPING: Stir together brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture is fine; add nuts.
