Ingredients:
Ingredients:
8 inch Springform Pan

8 Ounces of Spaghetti, Capellini, or Angel Hair pasta
2 Large Eggs, beaten
1 tsp. Italian Seasoning

1 Large Sweet Onion
2 Garlic Cloves
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Pound of Cooked Ground Beef
2 Cups of Spaghetti Sauce

1 Cup Ricotta

1 1/2 Cup of Mozzarella Cheese
1/2 Cup of Parmesan Cheese, divided

Parsley, chopped, for garnish if you like

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees

Grease your springform pan with Pam or EVOO. I find it's best to wrap foil around the base of the pan to avoid any leaks. I also place the pan on a aking sheet while in the oven.

Cook the pasta according to package directions. It can be al dente, as it will continue to bake in the oven. Drain the pasta and mix in the eggs and Italian seasoning, and 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese. I let the pasta cool a bit so that the eggs don't scramble when added to the hot pasta. They are there are a binding agent for your crust.

Spread the ricotta cheese over the pasta to the edges of the pan.

In a frying pan saute your chopped onions until translucent. Add the chopped garlic midway through so it doesn't burn. Add in the cooked ground beef and pasta sauce. Stir completely. Pour the meat sauce over the ricotta.

Sprinkle on the mozzarella cheese and parmesan.

Place it in the oven and bake it for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes to set before cutting. Release the springform pan and slice the pie into wedges. The layers look really nice!

Personal Notes:
This is a fun and easy way to make a pasta dish. It is good for parties, as it transports well and the layers are fun to look at. It's just like lasagna in a pie, but a lot less time-consuming to prepare. Mangia!
