1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. garlic powder (or fresh garlic)
1 lb. Fettuccine
3 heaping Tbsp. flour
1 pint heavy cream
8 oz. cream cheese
2/3 c. Parmesan cheese
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In skillet – mix butter, 1 heap of fresh garlic (or powder as listed – I prefer fresh) and sauté. Stir in flour and mix. Add in cream, cream cheese (Thin with milk if needed) and when all melted and mixed – add in Parmesan and stir until mixed and melted. Add salt and pepper to season. Serve over Fettucine noodles.

We alter this recipe a little for Fettucine alfredo – we eat way too much of! I use the same sauce to make an Alfredo lasagna with chicken as well. Sometimes add peas.
