2 lbs Confectioners Powdered Sugar
1½ cups Vegetable Shortening
3-4 tbsp Milk or Cream, divided
2 tsp Clear Vanilla Extract*

*Vanilla Bean Paste is optional

Directions:
In a large bowl beat shortening till smooth. Add 1 tbsp. of cream and 2 tsp. of vanilla. Once combined start adding sugar, slowly at a time. Once incorporated, add more cream, 1 tbsp. at a time, till you get the right consistency.
You might want to chill it for 30 minutes before using. Stir before using.

Use a thicker icing for decorations on cake. This will help to
Ensure they will hold shape. I am going to use heavy whipping
Cream instead of milk for flavor.
The picture is an icing ready for coloring. It will need more
Sugar for piping but right now it has good enough consistency
For a crumb coat. Then it can be thickened for a firming frosting.
