1½ c. sugar
½ c. cornstarch
1 can evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1½ sticks butter
2 c. coconut
2 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and cornstarch in pan. Stir in evaporated milk and vanilla until there are no lumps. Cut up butter and add to pan. Cook over medium low heat until bubbly and thickened; stir often. Remove from heat. Stir in coconut and pecans. Makes enough to frost between cake layers or frost 2 (13 X 9") pans or frost 1 sheet cake size pan.
