1 tbsp. yeast (or 1 pkg. active fast acting)
2 c. water, divided
⅓ c. sugar
2 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. salt
6 - 6½ c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl dissolve yeast in ½ cup warm water. Add sugar, oil, salt, 3½ cups flour and 1½ cups water. Beat by hand or mixer until smooth. Add enough additional flour to make soft dough. Knead 6-8 minutes. Let rise in greased covered bowl for 1 hour. Punch down; divide in half and place loves on greased baking sheet. Flatten each loaf to 1" thickness. Poke with fork several times. Cover and let rise 30 minutes until nearly doubled. Bake at 375º for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
