I box yellow cake mix
1 pkg lemon jello
4 eggs
1 t. vanilla
3/4 c. salad oil
3/4 c. apricot nectar

Icing ingredients:
2 c. sifted confectioner's sugar
1/3 c. apricot nectar (or juice of 2 lemons)

Directions:
Directions:
Separate eggs. Beat whites until stiff. Blend cake mix and jello thoroughly. Add beaten egg yolks, nectar, oil, and flavoring. Fold in egg whites and pour into 10" tube pan, greased. Bake 1 hour at 325º.

Mix icing ingredients. Pour over hot cake and let cool in pan.
