Ingredients:
Ingredients:
6 medium peaches, peeled and sliced
5 slices white bread, crusts removed
1 to 1 1/2 c. sugar
2 T. flour
1 egg
1/2 c. melted butter (1 stick)

Directions:
Directions:
Place peaches in greased 8" square baking dish. Cut each slice of bread into 5 long strips. Place bread over peaches. In a bowl, mix sugar, flour, egg and butter. Pour over fruit and bread. Bake at 350º for 40 minutes or until golden brown. (Butter and sugar will caramelize over bread and you won't know it's bread.) Serve warm with vanilla ice cream on top!

Note: A 29 oz. can of sliced peaches, drained, can be substituted for fresh peaches. Reduce sugar if using canned peaches.
