1 ½ lb ground beef
1 package taco seasoning
½ cup water
1 can whole kernel corn drained (divided)
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 package corn muffin mix (Jiffy)
French fried onions
½ cup shredded cheese

Directions:
Directions:
1 package corn muffin mix (Jiffy) following their directions then add ½ the corn into the corn muffin mix.

French fried onions

½ cup shredded cheese (divided) or more to your liking

Brown meat then add seasoning, water, ½ the corn, tomato sauce & simmer.

Pour in 2 quart baking dish and top with ½ the cheese.

Put dollops of muffin mix around the outside edge (alternative: cover entire pie with the mix).

Bake at 400 for 20 minutes, put the rest of the cheese and onions on top and bake 2-3 more minutes.
