1/2 c. sugar
2 T. boiling water
4 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 t. vanilla
1/4 t. almond extract
1/4 t. salt
1 can evaporated milk
1/2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Place 1/2 c. sugar in pot over medium heat. Watch carefully. Do not stir until it's starting to brown and most of the sugar is melted. Stir until clear and light brown. Stir in boiling water. Quickly pour into 6 1-cup custard cups. Whisk rest of ingredients together. Pour into custard cups. Place in a 9x13 pan with hot water halfway up sides of cups. Bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes, or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Do not let brown. You can serve them like they are, or run a knife around the edges and invert into a dish.
