2 c. flour
2 T. sugar
1 T. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
6 T. butter
2/3 c. choc chips
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. milk or cream
1 slightly beaten egg for wash

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Stir together first 4 ingredients. Cut in butter until it resembles coarse meal. Add chips; then egg and milk, stirring only until dough sticks together. Do not overmix. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface; pat into a 1" thick circle. Cut in wedges; transfer to greased cookie sheet. Brush with egg; sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 375° 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
