46 oz. jar dill pickle slices
or Kosher dill pickles, sliced thickly
3 c. sugar
2 T. horseradish or 1 T. Tabasco sauce + 1/8 t. red pepper flakes
Onion slices

Directions:
Drain pickles; mix with rest of ingredients. Cover; let stand 2 hours, stirring occasionally. These get even better after being refrigerated a few days.
