12 graham crackers (2 ½ x 4 ¾”)
1 cup butter
1 ¼ cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Fit crackers side by side into a 10 x 15” baking pan.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In a 2 or 3 quart pan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and nuts; cook, stirring often until it boils. Continue to boil until 238 degrees (about 2 minutes). Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and pour over crackers, spreading to cover. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes (topping should not brown). Remove from oven and sprinkle at once with chocolate. Let sit 10 minutes. Spread chocolate. Cut into squares (24), then in triangles while warm.
