Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 c sugar
1 c Karo syrup
1 c peanut butter
6 c Rice Krispies

Topping:
1 c Toll House semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c butterscotch chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt sugar and corn syrup in 3-qt saucepan until it boils, stirring frequently. Remove from heat, add peanut butter and stir well. Add Rice Krispies and press into a greased 9 x 13 pan. For thinner bars, use a larger pan. I use wax paper to press the mixture into the pan.

Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips in 1-qt saucepan on low heat, stirring constantly. Spread evenly on Rice Krispies. Allow to cool then cut into 2" x 1" bars.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Spray measuring cup with cooking spray, before measuring corn syrup, and it will fall out easily. May also use Cocoa Krispies.

Lyn Becker: I make something similar called Special K Bars. This recipe calls for the same ingredients but uses 7 cups of Special K cereal and 1/2 cup of butter is melted with the butterscotch and chocolate chips. This results in a softer topping. Everything else is the same.
