2/3 cup butter, softened
4 cups oatmeal, uncooked
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup light corn syrup
3 teaspoons vanilla
1 16-oz pkg. chocolate chips
2/3 cup peanut butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream the butter and stir in oatmeal, sugar, corn syrup and vanilla.

Spread this mixture into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 15 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE.
Allow the bars to cool.

In a saucepan mix chocolate chips and peanut butter until melted. Spread over cooled bars. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours before cutting into squares.
