3 C. Peeled, mashed sweet potato
2 eggs
1 C. Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 c. Evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1 stick melted butter

Topping:
1 stick butter
1C. Brown sugar
1C. Chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Peel sweet potatoes - about 4 of them. Boil in water until they are tender. Mash them. Mix all the above ingredients with the potato mixture. Put in baking dish. Mix topping and spread on top of potato mixture. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes.

This is Grandma Wilkins recipe. She brought it to Thanksgiving/Christmas many times over the years. I would ask her to double it - as we all liked it. (I bet you could decrease the sugar and it would still be good.)
