1 C sugar (½ C raw sugar and ½ C regular sugar
3 T butter, melted
½ C dark corn syrup
3 large eggs, beaten
1½ - 2 C pecan halves (8-9 oz)
2 T good quality Brandy or Bourbon
1 (9”) deep-dish pie shell, unbaked

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. In a medium bowl, stir together the sugar and melted butter. Add the corn syrup, eggs, pecans, and bourbon, and stir until all ingredients are combined. Pour mixture into an unbaked pie shell, and place on a heavy-duty cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Lower the oven temperature to 350º, and continue to bake for an additional 30-35 minutes, or until pie is set. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.
