1 lb. smoked ham, ground
½ lb. pork, ground
1 ½ c. salt bread crumbs
1 egg
½ tsp. dry mustard

Sauce:
¼ c. brown sugar
1 tsp. prepared mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ham, pork, bread crumbs, and mustard. Mix well, add egg and mix well. Shape into logs. Place in shallow pan, brush with sauce of brown sugar and mustard. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes. If you want to have them fancy you can serve with cherry sauce.
Cherry sauce:
2 tbsp. cornstarch
½ c. sugar
1-2 can red cherries
Cook over low heat until thick and clear, stirring constantly.

The first Thanksgiving I spent with Joe and his family, I came home raving about his Grandma Davis's ham logs. They were so different, but delicious! I couldn't wait to adopt this main course into my family.
