3 oz. cream cheese
½ cup butter, softened
1 cup flour
½ cup jam or praline filling
1/3 cup sugar for decorating

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add flour slowly until well beaten. Shape into log and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill several hours or overnight.

Preheat oven to 350. Roll out dough 1/8” thick on floured surface. Cut into 2 ½ inch rounds. Place ½ tsp. of filling or jam on round. Fold over and seal. Prick with a fork. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes. Remove from pan partially cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.



Praline filling:

¼ cup butter, softened
½ cup brown sugar
1/3 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
