1 cup dates cut in half
1 cup hot water
1 tsp. baking soda
½ cup butter
1 egg
1 cup walnut meats
1 cup sugar
1 ½ cups flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Combine water and baking soda and pour over dates.
Combine ingredients together and bake 60 minutes in slow oven.
