For the Sweet Potato Mixture:

3 cup mashed sweet potatoes. (about 6 medium sweet potatoes, baked until fork tender, then peeled & mashed)
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs, well-beaten
1/2 cup butter, cut into small pieces

For the Crust:

1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans preferred but others may be substituted)
2 tablespoon melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients of the sweet potato mixture in a mixing bowl. Combine thoroughly.

Pour into buttered baking dish.

Sprinkle the crust mixture evenly over the sweet potato mixture.

Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Allow to set before serving.
