1 clove garlic, crushed
3/4 cup olive oil
3 slices firm white bread
3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
6 anchovy slices, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. coarse black pepper
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 egg
1 large head romaine lettuce
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Steep garlic in oil overnight, then remove and discard garlic. Cut bread into small cubes.
Saute bread cubes in 1/4 cup garlic oil until golden brown Drain on paper towel.
Combine remaining oil, lemon juice, anchovies, salt, mustard, pepper, and Worcestershire in a large salad bowl.
Heat egg in hot water in a small bowl for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, tear romaine into bite sized pieces and put into salad bowl. Top lettuce with half the Parmesan cheese. Break egg over salad, then toss salad until well mixed. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bread. Serve immediately.
