2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
tsp. baking powder
tsp. salt
1 c. salted butter, softened (2 sticks)
1 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. real Watkins vanilla
c. granulated sugar for rolling cookies

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.

Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

Using a mixer, beat together the butter and sugar until smooth and very fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until combined.

Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls and roll in sugar. Place on lined cookie sheets about 2 inches apart.

Bake 7-8 minutes or until lightly browned around edges. Let stand on cookie sheet 5 minutes before moving to cooling rack.
