PASTRY SHELLS:
1/2 c. butter, softened
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. + 2 T. flour
1 1/2 t. sesame seeds
1/4 t. salt
FILLING:
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
2 T. fresh chives
3 large eggs
3/4 c. half and half
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1/8 t. nutmeg
Dash of tabasco

Directions:
Directions:
PASTRY SHELLS: With mixer, beat butter and cream cheese until smooth. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and chill one hour. Shape into 36 1 balls. Place in lightly greased mini muffin pans, shaping each ball into a shell.
FILLING: Combine cheese and chives; spoon mixture evenly into pastry shells. Combine eggs and remaining ingredients. Pour into pastry shells. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until set and browned. Yields 3 dozen.
