15 lbs. pork boston butt (shoulder)*
46 oz. pineapple juice
1 can sprite
3 heads chopped garlic
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. soy sauce
3 t. black pepper
1/4 c. toasted sesame seeds

Cut pork into bite-sized pieces. Mix all in a large container and marinate for at least 3 days in the refrigerator. Soak skewers overnight before grilling. Place 5-6 pieces of meat on each stick. Grill till brown and crispy (don't undercook)!

This recipe is highly requested for large Gulle gatherings. Many evenings were spent with the whole family gathered around the table stringing meat on a stick!

*Freeze the pork shoulder for a few hours, it is easier to cut when semi-frozen.
