1 pkg active dry yeast
1½ c. warm water
⅔ c. sugar
1½ tsp salt
⅔ c. shortening/lard
2 eggs
1 c. lukewarm mashed potatoes
7 to 7½ c. All-Purpose Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water in large mixing bowl. Stir in sugar, salt, shorten/lard, eggs, potatoes and 4 cups of flour. Beat until smooth mix enough remains flour to make dough easy to handle.

Turn dough into lightly floured surface. Knead until smooth and elastic about 5 minutes. Place increased bowl, turn grease side up and cover bowl tightly for refrigerate at least 8 hours but no longer than 5 days.

Punch down dough, shape, let rise and bake.

400º F 13-15 minutes
