Pastry for a 9 inch pie shell
1 cup diced cooked ham
1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
4 eggs, beaten
1 cup half and half
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon parsley flakes

Line a 9 inch quiche or pie pan with pastry; trim excess pastry around edges. Bake at 400º for 3 minutes; remove from oven and gently prick with a fork. Bake 5 minutes longer. Let cool on a rack. Place ham in pastry shell; top with cheese, and sprinkle with nutmeg. Beat eggs until foamy; stir in half and half and seasonings. Pour over cheese in pastry shell. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes or until set.
