½ Ib. of sharp cheddar cheese
1 c. milk
1 tsp. flour
A pinch of Cayenne pepper
½ tsp. dry mustard
1 egg, beaten
1 can tomato soup (add last)

Directions:
Directions:
In a double-boiler (or smaller pot inside of a larger pot of water), combine the first three ingredients and slowly melt the cheese, stirring in the flour and milk. Gently stir in the remaining ingredients once the cheese is melted and continue to stir until the mixture is thickened. Serve with or on toast, crackers, or cooked vegetables.
