1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour milk
1/2 c. hot water
2 c. flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar together. Add eggs.

Sift dry ingredients together.

Add dry ingredients with milk and water alternately.

Mix all ingredients well. Add vanilla.

Pour into greased 9X13 pan. Bake 350 until tester comes out clean.

If you don't have sour milk: put 1 tsp vinegar and fill to half mark with milk.
